Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Types!

Hiya! It’s me, Kitty Powers, with some more delightful info about my new game, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date!

Okay! Let’s talk about types! Every character has a type which determines how they feel about other characters. There are ten different types of character, which in no particular order, are edgy, vintage, geeky, hippy, arty, chic, sporty, glam, hipster and practical.

A character’s likes, dislikes and preferences can be predicted to a certain extent by their type. Each type has their own consistent personality traits, but there will always be traits that are unpredictable! As an example, an edgy type will always be modern and spicy! A vintage type will always be traditional and romantic! It’s basically your job to tease as much information out as possible during the course of the game! If you’re not sure what type a client is, you can ask Kitty to tell you at the beginning of every game. Kitty is so helpful like that!

In general, two characters of the same type will get on well together, but not always! There may be other factors that could doom the relationship from the start, like a bad habit, or an appalling choice of outfit! Oh dear! On the other hand, it’s always possible that two characters that aren’t the same type might get on like a house on fire! Yay!

Anyway, I think that’s enough for one day! I don’t want to give you information overload! If you weren’t already aware, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date is due to be released on November 22nd on all mobile platforms, and best of all, it will be absolutely FREE! You can also earn in-game rewards just by watching optional advertisements! Sounds good, doesn’t it Kitten!

Hello Kittens!

It’s me again, Kitty Powers, your friendly, neighbourhood drag queen game developer, ready with another delightful morsel of exciting Speed Date news!

This time, I want to give you a run down on all the goss on the characters, and how it will affect the outcome of the game! Ooh! Sounds intriguing!

Anyway, let’s talk about characters. All the characters are procedurally generated, and you’ll never encounter the same character twice! They also fall into one of ten different category types, but more about that in another article! All this means that every single client and candidate has a unique profile! Their profile will include their likes and dislikes, their job, their habits, good and bad, their interests and even their guilty pleasure! Not only that, but they will also have their own sense of style when it comes to fashion and they will certainly be picky about what a potential partner looks like! Basically, the more things two potential partners like about each other, the more likely they are to have a successful relationship - just like real life!

It’s ultimately up to you to decide whether two characters, a client and a candidate, are actually suitable, and in the end, their ongoing happiness is in YOUR capable hands! Imagine that!

Introducing Kitty Powers’ Speed Date!

Hi Kittens! It’s me, Kitty Powers! The one and only game developer drag queen extraordinaire! Anyway, enough about me! Please allow me to introduce my new game, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date!

Speed Dating is the modern, fun way for lonely singletons to meet and potentially find their dream partner! In this game, it’s your job to help them find their perfect mate in just 60 seconds, by asking the right questions, scrutinising their particulars, and ultimately plumping for the person you think most adequately fulfils the desires of the client! Ooh! Plumping!

Our Speed Dating agency has an apparently never-ending waiting list of excitable, eager clients who are desperate for your expertise in the field of personality analysis! Of course, our highly advanced super computer, the Love-o-Tron 3000 will aid you in your mission!

Comparing a client with a potential partner!

As if that wasn’t exciting enough, you can create your own avatar with more new and exciting fashion items than ever before! You can send your personalised avatar on speed dates, or even send your friends avatars on speed dates! Not only that, you will be competing for the honour of occupying the top of the global high score leader board, or your friends’ leader board! There will be weekly and daily bonuses for coming top of the leader board, so keep at it, Kitten!

Speed Date is due for release on November 22nd, and will be completely free (with optional ads and in-app purchases)! There really is a lot to explain, which I’ll go into in future updates! Ooh! I’m so excited, and I hope you are, too!

By the end of the week, updates for both Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker and Kitty Powers’ Love Life will be available that make your online status clearer and give you more control over which services you have enabled.

well we've just got back from a fabulous trip to Los Angeles for our third Dragcon! We met lots of lovely kittens, old and new, and also revealed our new game 'Kitty Powers' Speed Date' which we'll talk about in more detail soon!
